Scopus, a database containing bibliographic records and citation data, has recently launched an AI functionality in its service.
The trial period has now ended, and evaluation is in progress.
Scopus AI is an add-on that is not included in the regular offering of the database, but KAU now has access to it on a trial basis for four weeks (October 7th-November 6th , 2024). You can directly access Scopus AI from the Scopus.com homepage.
Scopus AI is based on natural language and intelligent keyword search, which means that keywords and boolean operators are unnecessary. You can also ask your question in Swedish (or any other language), though the answer will be delivered in English. The result, or the answer to your question, is based on the abstracts of the Scopus database and is provided as a brief summary with references used to create it. You can also further explore the topic via an extended summary, foundational documents, or the concept map generated from your question.
