Research and development
CSD
Our research on subject-specific education is conducted in close collaboration with CSD (Centre for Social Science Education). CSD is a cooperation body for research and subject development in History, Religious Studies, Civics, Political Science, Geography, and Tourism. Our staff participate in CSD seminars on a regular basis.
Conferences
The subject has organised conferences on civics education research and regularly partakes in national and Nordic conferences on civics education, for instance NOKSA. Another important forum for research is our participation in NOFA, a Nordic conference on subject-specific education.
We have also contributed actively to the National Network for Civics Education. The network is a key forum and meeting place for teacher educators and subject teachers from different higher education institutions.
The subject education journal Nordidactica
The Civics subject at 果冻传媒 is also represented on the editorial board of the subject education journal Nordidactica: Journal of Humanities and Social Science Education. The aim of the journal is to describe and develop research on subject-specific education in Geography, History, Religious Studies, Civics, and Political Science in the Nordic countries. Several members of staff in the subject have contributed research articles to Nordidactica.
