CRE8®Europe Partner Jaume I University
Jaume University is one of four partners in the CRE8 Europe project striving to unite students and create value for students, alumni, universities and organisations.
The Universitat Jaume I (UJI) is the public university in the north of the Valencian Community, a region on the European Mediterranean coast located among the cities of Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid. Established in 1991, the UJI has positioned itself as a friendly university characterised by its personal attention, smooth-running management procedures and the high levels of participation of its members in university life, due, among other things, to its convenient size, with about 15,000 students, and its integrated, modern, functional and sustainable campus.
CRE8® Europe
Four national CRE8® Europe events will be held (one in each partner country). The entire student cohort is to attend each event.ÌýEqual numbers of students will be drawn from each partner, with a good mix of institutions and disciplines represented in each team. Four teams of five students will be given a scenario with which to demonstrate their problem-solving skills. The teams will have a set time to develop and pitch their solution to a jury. These will be real worldÌýscenarios, sourced from partner alumni in companies or the public sector, who will also sit on the jury. The jury will provide feedback on the pitches and choose a winning team.
