Research dissemination and outreach
Research communication is both about disseminating own research in both the scientific community and society in general, and about going into dialogue with other researchers and other societal actors on current questions and societal challenges.
CRS鈥檚 research communication in relation to the scientific community involves, for example, publications in scientific journals and participation in regional, national and international conferences.
CRS also develops forms of research communication with the wider society, for example through seminars and through collaboration with key actors. Among other things, CRS is an academic partner of Reglab and has developed collaboration with both Region V盲rmland and the County Administrative Board of V盲rmland. Within the framework of specific projects, there are also networks that extend to, for example, municipalities, national authorities and business cluster organisations.
In order to make the research useful in society in general, we are also active in popular science contexts. In some projects, we have produced policy briefs, aimed at presenting research knowledge for a non-academic audience. Other examples of broader research communication are workshops arranged with researchers and financiers that provide skill development for the financiers.
