Advanced level courses in Computer Science for industrial competence development
Corona pandemic's negative impact on the labor market is also found in the IT industry in the form of reduced investments and procurements as well as discontinued projects. This impact is visible at both national and regional level.
The stagnant labor market has negative consequences both for those who are already established in the labor market and for newly graduated students. The rapid pace of technical development in the IT area makes it important for individuals who are currently without employment or assignments to develop skills to be attractive when the trend reverses and new assignments become available.
To meet these challenges, the project will expand the opportunities for competence development at a distance for primarily laid-off and laid-off staff. A total of eight courses at the advanced level will be made available through new development, further development, or adaptation. Together, these courses will be used to offer a number of new courses at a distance.
