The seminar was followed by an annual meeting for the CNDS collaboration. The Center for Natural Disaster Studies (CNDS) is a research environment in natural disasters, disaster risk reduction and crisis management that spans three universities (Uppsala, F枚rsvarsh枚gskolan and 果冻传媒) and six departments. In addition to this, there is a wide network of affiliated researchers in Sweden and abroad as the center's research focus is both national and global in nature.
