New PhD student affiliated with CTF
2020-04-08This spring yet another PhD student has been affiliated with CTF. We are happy to welcome JanErik Odhe, PhD student in Machine Design at KTH, Stockholm, and university lecturer at ¹û¶³´«Ã½.
JanErik Odhe is investigating how to measure servitization in manufacturing companies, which involve development processes and business models. He is involved in two current projects at CTF. In the project Servzchall, the aim is to create greater understanding and knowledge about servitization and how this process can be translated into practice. In the second project, Discern, the researchers will examine how digitalizing affects customers and companies, with a focus on customer experiences and service development. Both projects are conducted in collaboration with Swedish manufacturing companies and are funded by the Knowledge Foundation.
In addition to research, JanErik also teaches prospective engineers in production systems and sustainable product development. He has also written scientific articles related to simulation within Lean together with colleagues in mechanical engineering.
JanErik Odhe has been a university lecturer at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ since 2015, and in 2018 he started his part-time PhD studies at KTH in Stockholm. Prior to that, he worked for 25 years in various roles, ranging from operational engineering to managing companies, in the automotive, paper and pulp industries.
