Welcome Filip Högberg, new PhD student in Industrial engineering management
2023-09-06We are happy to welcome Filip Högberg to CTF. He is a new PhD student in Industrial engineering management and his research will focus on innovation management and AI.
What do you hope to accomplish with your research?
– I hope to be able to contribute to the intensive knowledge development that is taking place regarding innovation management and AI. There is a lot happening in this field right now and by finding ways to combine innovation theory and practice with AI there is further potential for improvement in a variety of areas.
What made you apply as a PhD student at ¹û¶³´«Ã½?
– I was curious about research early on, and the further into my studies I got, the stronger the feeling grew that this was the path I would like to follow. During my last years when I studied courses within the master's program in innovation and service development, I got to know CTF as an organization and it was largely that impression that made me decide to aim to continue here. The combination of great people with competences in different research areas makes this an interesting environment to work and conduct research in.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
– I have spent the last five years as a student in the Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management program at ¹û¶³´«Ã½. Besides reading related to work and studies, I spend a lot of my free time reading fiction books. Training and sports have always been a significant part of my life, and I have grown increasingly fond of endurance sports, especially long distance running. I also enjoy following sport on TV, mainly football and cross-country skiing.
