Distance examination
As a distance student, you have the opportunity to take your exam at a learning center that 果冻传媒 has an agreement with or at 果冻传媒.
Teacher Education Programs in collaboration with learning centres
If you鈥檙e enrolled in a teacher education program and assigned to a specific study location, you鈥檒l take your exams at a learning center associated with that location. This applies to the following programs:
- Early years education
- Primary education

Learning centers
Most learning centers affiliated with 果冻传媒 offer students the opportunity to take exams there free of charge. In some cases, there may be a cost that the student must cover. You can find information about which learning centers this applies to in our list of eligible centers.
Remember that you can always take exams free at 果冻传媒, even if you study a course or program on distance.
To think about as a distance student:
- Familiarize yourself with the local regulations and rules at the specific learning center you鈥檝e chosen.
- Ensure your contact information is up-to-date in Mitt Kau (the university鈥檚 system).
- Book a seat at the learning center where you plan to take your exam as early as possible, so that you have the opportunity to change the location on your registration up to 14 days before the exam date.
- Arrive at your chosen learning center in good time.
How to register
- Register for the exam in Mitt Kau well in advance.
- Contact the learning center where you want to take the exam and submit your registration. If you need to provide contact details, see below:

- Students then select their location via Mitt Kau once their place at the desired learning center is confirmed, no later than 14 days before the exam date.
Cancellation
If you encounter any obstacles, it鈥檚 essential to cancel your registration as soon as possible. Use Mitt Kau for this purpose. Your chosen location will be aware of your cancellation, and your spot may be given to another student. Some learning centers may charge a fee for late cancellations.

Exam times
Exam times for a distance exam are differ from those on campus.
- Start time on campus 08.15 corresponds to a learning center start time of 09.00
- Start time on campus 14.00 corresponds to a learning center start time of 13.00
- Learning centers do not accept students who arrive after 09.00
- Distance exams are held only on weekdays.听

Exams after Christmas and New Year
For exams in the upcoming year (January 1st to January 20th), make sure to register by December 12th. This allows learning centers to allocate resources well ahead of the holiday period. Remember to register both at your preferred learning center for a confirmed spot and via Mitt Kau, selecting your location.
Examination abroad
Starting from the fall semester of 2023, international exams are administered through the Exam Coordination Office. These exams take place only at Swedish embassies or consulates. It鈥檚 the student鈥檚 responsibility to contact the embassy and explore the possibility of taking the exam there. If you鈥檙e on an exchange semester, you can write the exam at a partner university.
