Students carry out an individual research project, building on and developing the student's previous studies in biology, on a topic chosen in consultation with the examiner. The project should build upon the student's previous studies in Biology and should represent a further development of the student's biological background. Parallel to the project, students also conduct literature studies.

Bachelor's degree 180 ECTS cr with a Major in Biology, including ecology 15 ECTS cr and a specialization course 15 ECTS cr in Biology at Master's level. Upper secondary level English 6/B, or equivalent.
