English linguistics III: History of English from a sociolinguistic perspective

In this course, we will answer some of those questions. You will learn the fundamentals of English language history, with special emphasis on how and why the language has changed over time, and on current trends in Present-day English.

ENGA32 English Linguistics I: Concepts and Theories (7.5 ECTS credits) and ENGB62 English Linguistics II: Language Acquisition and Language Learning (7.5 ECTS credits), or 60 ECTS credits completed in the main field of study, or equivalent

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
