Wave Physics and Electric Circuits
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course consists of two separate parts.
Wave Physics: Descriptions of plane, circular and spherical waves, based on basic properties as wavelength, frequency and phase with application to mechanical and electromagnetic waves. Classical experiments as reflection, refraction, superposition, standing waves, interference, diffraction and dispersion.
Electric Circuits: Basic concepts and principles with application to simpler circuits with resistors, capacitors and inductors. Direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) calculations. Laboratory work with measurements of currents and voltages.
