Introduction to IT Design
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course treats the basics of the physical and logical construction and function of computer systems in lectures, and in laboratory students build a computer from components. Aspects dealt with are the smallest computer components, equipment, computer types, memory, networks, communications and security along with the design, analysis and structure of information systems and enterprise systems and how these relate to the basic administration of an organisation and demands for information. Basic theories in enterprise, enterprise systems, and business administration are treated in relation to IT design.

Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
