Subject-specific education
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course covers the following:
- how different types of teaching in the given combination of subjects relate to steering documents and research on subject-specific education
- the implications of a science and/or mathematics approach, and conditions for subject integrated teaching
- factors that impact pupils' attitudes, interest, and motivation in relation to the combination of subjects
- practical examples of assessment and grading, including various types of national assessment guides, such as the test bank provided by the Agency of Education and the national tests
- current subject-specific education research on assessment and evaluation
The course includes varied forms of work and the students take active part in, for instance, group conversations and seminars.

Admitted to pedagogical bridging programme after third-cycle qualification, LPGKF8 completed, and enrolled in LPGK10 and LPGK11.
