The Uncanny in Literature, Film and Art
7.5 ECTS creditsThe aim of the course is that students deepen their knowledge of the uncanny as a theoretical concept and of such forms of expression in literature, film and art, and enhance their comparative literature skills, as well as substantially develop their skills in analysing and interpreting aesthetic forms of expression. The course deals with the uncanny as a theoretical concept through the study of theoretical literature and examples of its manifestations in literature, film and art.
