Geometry, trigonometry, and statistics
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course covers the following:
- Vectors in the plane and space, scalar and vector product, equations for lines and planes, distances between points, lines, and planes in space.
- Elemental Euclidean geometry and trigonometry. Spherical geometry and trigonometry.
- Introductory probability theory, descriptive statistics, various measures of central tendency, dispersion, and dependence, linear regression, and some common distributions (e.g., the normal distribution).

Registered for Mathematics for Engineers I, 7.5 ECTS credits, or equivalent.
