The course consists of two parts: Young musicians, band leader and the band and Wind band methodology for intermediate level, which refers to the learners' second to forth year on the instrument.

- varied and progressive instruction in playing together

Instruction is in the form of seminars, lectures and practical components as well as practical training under supervision in students' own wind ensemble or wind band and individual study with written assignments.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Education level: Undergraduate level

Selection:

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
