Pedagogic methods for teaching about risk and environmental issues
7.5 ECTS creditsThe purpose of the course is for students to learn about various educational methods that can be used to communicate about and teach risk and environmental issues. The course is based on the methods, tools, and games developed in RiskLab at 果冻传媒, where some course components are also conducted. In the course, students will have the opportunity to develop, test, and evaluate educational methods with a focus on risk and environmental issues. Students will also acquire a theoretical basis in knowledge related to education, games development, learning, communication, risk management, environmental science, and transformation.
The course includes the following components:
- Introduction to RiskLab and the methods, tools, and games developed there.
- Basic theoretical knowledge in education, games development, learning, communication, risk management, environmental science, and transformation with a focus on risk and environmental issues.
- Basic practical knowledge of the development, testing, and evaluation of educational methods.

Admission requirements
At least 60 ECTS credits in one of the subjects Environmental Science, Risk Management, Risk and Environmental Studies, Communication Studies, Subject-specific Education, Educational Studies, Games Development, and Social and Spatial Planning, or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
