Nursing profession, clinical competence and leadership
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course covers the profession, clinical competence, and leadership of the nurse. Instruction is in the form of introductory and specialised lectures, seminars, skills training, simulation, individual assignments, reflective discussions, and group work.
The course integrates nursing (10 ECTS cr), medical science (3 ECTS cr), and social and behavioural science (2 ECTS cr), and includes clinical placement at a hospital (7.5 ECTS cr).

Fundamentals of Nursing and the Nursing Profession, 30 ECTS credits, Basic Clinical Nursing, 30 ECTS credits, and Nursing in Relation to Symptoms and Signs of Illness, 37.5 ECTS credits, plus registration on Nursing in Relation to Acute Situations, 7.5 ECTS credits, with at least 3.5 ECTS credits completed, and Nursing in Longterm Illness and Multimorbidity, 30 ECTS credits, or equivalent
