Human Safety I: injury analysis and risk assessment
7.5 ECTS creditsThe aim of the course is that students develop the knowledge required to analyse human injury risks. Central concepts and the panorama of injuries are treated in a statistical perspective, along with factors affecting accident and injury risks. Students apply the epidemiological method related to injuries in terms of data collection and analysis methods, classification systems and computer sources. Students identify and treat the area of injury in the form of an individual project and seminars.
The course is offered as part-time distance education with two brief periods on campus (果冻传媒 university) at the beginning and end of the course. On-campus instruction is in the form of lectures, seminars and discussion. The seminars are part of the assessment and therefore mandatory.

Completed first-cycle courses of at least 120 ECTS cr, or equivalent, and upper secondary school level Swedish 3 or B and English 6 or A.
