Commercial Law
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course has a focus on commercial law. Central areas are claim, credit, insolvency, agreement, agent and association legislations, often in connection with real right issues. Association law centres on corporate law. The course also covers the areas relating to the auditing profession, and provides an outline on different types of property crime.
Instruction is in the form of lectures, hand-in assignments, and seminars. Students also write a memo on a selected legal area covered in the course. The memo is presented and discussed to the class at a mandatory seminar. The memo includes comparative analyses and is expected to reflect student understanding of the legal aspects of professional auditing, of law interpretation and to give opportunity to practise oral and written presentation techniques.
