Instruction is in the form of supervision and seminars. The thesis is discussed and defended in a seminar. Students are also required to serve as peer reviewer.

Admission requirements
SOGA01 Sociology I 30 ECTS cr, SOGB01 Sociology II 30 ECTS cr, SOGC01 Sociology III 30 ECTS cr, SOAD30 Sociology IV, Degree project 15 ECTS cr and a further 15 ECTS cr in sociology at the A1N level or higher including methodology and methods, and 15 ECTS cr at the A1F level or higher including methods in social science or equivalent.
Upper Secondary School Swedish 3 or B or Swedish as a Second Language 3 or B and English 6 or A.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
