Modern social theories on social change

The course provides an in-depth account of modern sociological theory on the basis of issues such as the consequences of globalization and individualization. The course also provides an in-depth account of contested or promising theories in current research.

Progressive specialisation: G2F (has at least 60 credits in first鈥恈ycle course/s as entry requirements)

Admission requirements
Either Sociology I plus Sociology II or equivalent, or Social Psychology I plus Social Psychology II or equivalent.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
