Statistics - Bachelor's Thesis
15.0 ECTS creditsStudents are expected to specialise in a statistical sub-field and then apply the knowledge in a statistical project, independently planned and carried out. Students choose an area, formulate and delimit the problem, study relevant literature and write a report. The work can be of different types: statistical consultancy, investigation, review of a statistical investigation or a simulation study.
Supervision is only offered to students while the course is in progress. Students who fail to complete the project satisfactorily during this time may re-register at the next course opportunity. They will then be offered additional supervision to the extent made possible by available resources.

Admission requirements
Statistics 60 ECTS credits or equivalent. At least 30 of these 60 ECTS credits must be earned in basic level courses that have other basic level courses as prerequisites. In addition to these 60 ECTS credits the course STGC01 Statistical Theory 7.5 ECTS credits or equivalent is required.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
