2023-03-09Research.com, a leading academic platform for researchers, has released its annual list of top researchers in the field of business and management.
Bo Edvardsson, professor of business administration at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ business school, is ranked 191 on the international list. Nationally, research.com lists Bo Edvardsson significantly higher, which puts him in an impressive second place.
Congratulations Bo Edvardsson. What does such a high ranking mean to you?
- Of course, it's fun. For many years I have published and in good journals. It is an encouragement to continue and research is so rewarding to continue.
What does a researcher need to achieve to end up high on this list?
- I think it is important to be curious and to collaborate with other researchers in a global network. But also, that you have a home base. In my case, the business school at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and the Center for Service Research (CTF). Thanks for that.
What are your plans for 2023?
- I have several articles that are in the final phase and one has just come out in the Journal of Business Research. I will also participate in several research conferences during the year - Kyoto University in Japan, Maastricht University in the Netherlands and then I am an invited speaker at the International researchers symposium on service excellence in management at Vin University, Hanoi, Vietnam and the Naples Forum of Service in Ravello in Italy. These conferences provide an opportunity to work on various articles and receive feedback on ongoing research.
