Collaboration
Collaboration: undergraduate studies and external research
The ambition of the Spatial and Social Planning Programme is to offer education in close collaboration with society at large. Collaboration involves field trips, visits from guest lecturers, and reference groups among employers. There are many different examples, and partners in collaboration can be for instance municipalities, county administrative boards, regions, and businesses.
In doctoral education, collaboration is part of the framework of the national doctoral programme in Human Geography. The Graduate School of Regional Planning includes collaboration between Human Geography, Political Science, History, Sociology, Social Work, Risk and Environmental Studies, and Biology.
Students can study abroad for a period of time. Some programmes of study also involve long or short excursions abroad.
