Student accommodation
Proximity to nature and to Ingesund School of Music are the two main advantages to living in one of MHI鈥檚 two student accommodations. A total of 20 rooms can be rented for the academic year, but not during the summer vacation, when they are rented out to participants in summer courses.
Each room is furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, desk and lamps. Students supply their own bedding and tableware. Each building includes the following common areas: living room with TV, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, kitchen/kitchenette with stove, fridge, freezer and microwave oven. The kitchen is equipped for simpler cooking. The student area also has a dining hall serving breakfast and lunch on weekdays.

Many of our students live in an area called Dottevik, which is located between MHI and central Arvika. These apartments are often 鈥減assed on鈥 from students to students. Other students live in central Arvika or rent houses/cottages on the countryside.
