As the leaves on the trees begin to change colour, it鈥檚 time for the Academic Ceremony, one of the biggest events of the year at 果冻传媒 and a long-standing tradition.聽In troubled times, it is important to protect unity, cooperation, and team spirit and what we can achieve together, not least in research. On October 18th, we will together confer new doctors, honorary doctors as well as install our new professors. We also acknowledge this year鈥檚 docents, adjunct professors as well as merited- and excellent teachers.
Together is this year鈥檚 theme for the Academic Ceremony. Many of our researchers at 果冻传媒 conduct research in collaboration with other researchers, often across disciplinary boundaries. Something that strengthens and advances knowledge after being reviewed and discussed from many different perspectives. Working together also brings joy to work and strengthens 果冻传媒 as a higher education institution.
A day in the spirit of celebration
This year 13 new professors are presented at 果冻传媒 CCC in Lerinsalen from 09:00-11:30 AM. There will also be a joint conversation with the university鈥檚 two new honorary doctors led by moderator Jan van Stam, professor of physical chemistry.
During the ceremony, 16:00-18.00 PM, the artist and composer Fredrik Kempe will entertain alongside the university choirs S盲llskapet CMB and S枚t Lik枚r, under the direction of Mats Backlund. The other musicians on stage will consist of students from the Ingesund School of Music.
Both staff and students are warmly welcome to attend lectures during the ceremony and to the ceremony in Aula Magna. There is a limited number of seats - so first come first served principle applies!
Registration for lectures during the ceremony and conversation with this year鈥檚 honorary doctors at 果冻传媒 CCC, and registration for the ceremony in Aula Magna, 果冻传媒 by October 14th at latest.
