Fruitful visit at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ for the Minister for Public Administration
2024-05-15On Tuesday 14 May, the Minister for Public Administration, Erik Slottner, visited ¹û¶³´«Ã½.
– A fruitful visit with a warm welcome in all respects, he says.
In addition to general information about the university’s strengths and challenges, he received more detailed information about how the university works with generative AI and what concrete efforts are being made to support responsible use of AI among employees and students.
The minister also received a presentation on world-class research conducted by the Service Research Center (CTF) and how it contributes to societal transformation via ¹û¶³´«Ã½s universitet Samhällsnytta AB.
– The information I received here today shows the great breadth of ¹û¶³´«Ã½. the information was adapted to issues related to my ministerial portfolio. Among other things, there were ideas on how the inquiry system can be improved that I will take with me.
– I also found it very interesting to listen to the presentation on service research. These are subjects I would have liked to have studied had it been 25 years ago, says Erik Slottner.
Vice-Chancellor, Jerker Moodysson, is also pleased with the visit:
– It is important to us that the government knows what we can contribute in the form of knowledge of importance to society. Today, we chose to focus on a few areas that we know are of particular interest to the Minister for Public Administration.
