Hello there Johan Quist...
2020-04-01….. you are since January 1st the new vice director at CTF. How does it feel, and can you tell us more about the new assignment?
"Thanks, it feels great! There are few working places where so many exciting things are going on at the same time, and it is fun to be in the middle of this."
"My most important function is to brainstorm with our director Per Kristensson. CTF continuously gets many inquires about collaboration and other current issues that require thoughtful response, and we work together to find solutions. There is a steady influx of new doctoral students and visiting researchers in our environment who require a little extra attention, as well as my other co-workers here at CTF of course, and I always try to take the time to talk with them here in our corridors and i our fika room. In addition to this, I am also expected to contribute in new areas of development."
Can you tell us about your research and how it can contribute to the activities at CTF?
"I have for many years been studying encounters between citizens and governmental agencies and control mechanisms in public sector. Through this work I have built a profound knowledge of what it means to work and lead within a public organisation."
