How to get access to new articles from Elsevier
2018-11-21As of July 2018, Swedish universities have limited access to journals from Elsevier, one of the world’s largest scientific publishers. However, employees at ý can still access new articles through the interlibrary lending service, ”Get it now”.
Magazines published by Elsevier between January 1, 1995 and June 30, 2018 are still available through the usual channels. Articles published before, or after, said period can be borrowed through the interlibrary lending services. In most cases, you will find links to the interlibrary services via KAUlink on the library's various search services and databases.
Get it now is the easiest and quickest way to access Elsevier material. The desired article is delivered directly to your mailbox, usually within a few hours. You must enter a kau e-mail address to order from Get it now, and there’s a limit of 8 items per day. Students can not order articles through Get it now, they have to use the ”Beställ artikel/Order article (Betaltjänst - Fees apply)” link.
