Julio Angulo defended dissertation June 10, 2015
2015-06-10After some hectic years during which he has made a long series of research investiagtions and also had time to spend 4 months as an internship at Google in Zürich, did Julio, some time before the planned date, defend his doctoral thesis.
Julio defended a thesis entitled "Designing for Usable Privacy and Transparency in Digital Transactions" which was based on some of his research publications. Opponent was Joachim Meyer at Tel Aviv University, and serving on the grading committee were Karin Hedström (örebro), Iordanis K (Uppsala) and the former licentiate thesis opponent Marianne grave Petersen (århus).
The very same day his research student colleague Tobias Pulls defended his dissertation. They have partly worked on the same project during the last 4-5 years. In the evening there was a dinner with the many researcher that had come to attend the two defences.
Julio will continue to work within A4Cloud and some other projects at the Dept. of Computer Science throughout 2015.
