2021-05-19On May 20-22, the conference re: publica 2021 will broadcast live from Berlin. The programme covers a broad range of topics, from misinformation and false journalism to climate issues. Among the speakers is Avit Bhowmik, researcher in Risk and Environmental Studies, who will host a discussion on climate measures and the work on the Exponential Climate Action Roadmap.
During three days, re: publica 2021 will broadcast a total of 37 hours with 256 speakers and 140 program points.
- The session I host is about ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions touching on the work in the Exponential Climate Action Roadmap. The session is on May 21 at 18.30, in zoom and is called "Exponential Climate Action: What you can do to solve the climate crisis". To attend the entire conference, you have to pay a fee, but the session I am responsible for is open to everyone, without registration or fee, says Avit Bhowmik, researcher in Risk and Environmental studies, at the Center for Research on Social Risks and the Centre for Research on Sustainable Societal Transformation at 果冻传媒.
Exponential Climate Action Roadmap brings together researchers, companies and organizations to explore, find technological innovations and solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is to halve emissions by 2030.
