This category highlights leading universities in accounting and finance, business and management, and economics and econometrics subjects.
– It is very satisfying that ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ranks so high on the list in the category Business & Economics, especially for our Business School and that this is our first ranking, says Johan Sterte, Vice-Chancellor of ¹û¶³´«Ã½.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings examine several aspects when they rank universities. The universities on the list are ranked in terms of education, research, citations, collaboration with commerce and industry, and internationalisation.
– Being included in the ranking is a stamp of quality in itself. Out of around 25 000 universities in the world only 1 400 are ranked, and ¹û¶³´«Ã½ is one of them. From the perspective of internationalisation, it is important for ¹û¶³´«Ã½ to be part of the ranking. Out of the different criteria that have been evaluated, our most prominent area of distinction is citations, says Thomas Blom, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of ¹û¶³´«Ã½.
