Kau Science Week on Instagram
2024-12-03Kauresearch is the university’s Instagram account dedicated to research information. For the second year in a row, the themed week Kau Science Week is held at the same time as the Nobel Week.
Kau Science Week is mainly featured on the Kauresearch account. A post will be published every day throughout the week, drawing attention to researchers and research at ¹û¶³´«Ã½. The posts will be accompanied by stories and hashtags for further reading or listening. In addition, the university’s main accounts on Facebook, Instagram och LinkedIn will highlight parts of the content. This year’s themes include classical vocal studies, digitalisation in school, allergy, housework, cyber security, service innovation and digital infrastructure.
– We have started a new tradition with Kau Science Week. We draw on the focus on science at a time of the year when the world’s eyes are on the Nobel Prize celebrations, says Christina Knowles, Head of Communication at ¹û¶³´«Ã½.

Kauresearch started seven years ago and currently has 1,170 followers. Posts are written in English and published one to three times a week, usually with one or more photos and sometimes video clips. The posts focus on research findings and life as a researcher – regardless of whether you are an established researcher or a doctoral student. The aim is to create more interest and awareness about the research conducted at ¹û¶³´«Ã½.
