Master course in sustainable business highlights gender equality
2019-12-02Through the exhibition "Support male entrepreneurship", Sara Högström, who teaches the master course Sustainable Business, wants to highlight gender equality issues. The exhibition, on loan from Region Värmland, is combined with the communications agency Bulldozer talking about assignments they have had involving a clear gender perspective.
Sara Högström teaches the course Sustainable Business at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Business School, which, among other things, deals with ethical leadership. A number of perspectives are included, but not the gender equality aspect - as yet.
"When an opportunity appeared in the course and I could make changes, I saw the chance to include knowledge and examples of equality issues in the region. The course is international so there are students from different countries and cultures, which invites interesting group discussions when they have seen the exhibition and heard what Bulldozer has to tell them. I think it is a good way to break norms," says Sara Högström.
The exhibition can be seen 2–6 December in Transformum. Besides master students taking the course Sustainable Business, also Master of Science students of Industrial Management will see the exhibition.
