New contact for Sustainable Development Solutions network
2020-05-15The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Northern Europe is an action-oriented network that mobilizes Nordic scientific and technological expertise to promote integrated approaches to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement.
Its particular focus is on localizing the SDGs, teaching sustainable development and supporting their implementation, in particular through Solution Initiatives and Long-term Pathways.
鈥淏y joining this network, 果冻传媒 and Centre for Sustainable Societal Transformation, CRS, got part of a northern and at the same time a global sustainability community that enables widespread communication of their research output and technological expertise through collaboration with private sector, policymakers and civil society. 果冻传媒, and particularly CRS, act as an important knowledge hub of sustainability solutions that shapes and puts forward the global sustainability agenda through research and education, and contributes to the successful achievement of the sustainable development goals, says Avit Bhowmik, assistant professor of Risk and Environmental Studies at the Centre for Societal Risk Research, CSR.
