The University’s information about the Covid-19 pandemic will be removed
2022-03-28For just over two years, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ along with society at large has followed the Public Health Agency’s guidelines, recommendations, and information due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With the pandemic now slowing down, special measures are no longer needed and the information will therefore be removed. The email address corona@kau.se will also be closed.
In early February, most of the guidelines affecting University activities were lifted and a gradual return to regular on-campus teaching commenced. Until 27 March, teaching and examinations could be held remotely to facilitate planning for students and teachers. It is now business as usual for all University operations.
The recommendations that are still in effect in society, including the University, are:
• The Public Health Agency recommends vaccination for all individuals who are able to get vaccinated and are 12 years or older.
• Stay at home if you experience any symptoms of illness.
• Stay diligent about washing your hands.
• Unvaccinated individuals should take extra precautions and avoid crowded indoor environments. This recommendation only applies to adults.
Documented information and measures
The University was quick to start gathering information about pandemic-related measures. Support for students and staff has been conveyed in Swedish and English through websites, Q&As , and oral and written information from management and teachers. The work and experiences have been documented in the crisis management team’s incident log and in the publication Kris och kunskap, edited by then visiting research fellow Po Tidholm.
