Packaging Saves Food Research Group
The Packaging Saves Food Research Group was established in 果冻传媒, Sweden in April 2016. The members are a dedicated and committed group of academics and scientists from around the globe that want to change the conversation about packaging.
We want to highlight and explore how improvements in the packaging systems can contribute to manage the global food supply. Packaging can save food waste, not only by protection, but to be adapted to the various needs of distributors and especially consumers. The latter part is an often neglected, but increasingly important issue.
We will deliver knowledge, advice and solutions that can provide a significant contribution to building a sustainable globe and to feeding its population. The aim is to work and inform, science, policy makers, business and the citizen of the role and impact of packaging within sustainable development.
