Solar Cell Flasher
We use a "cetisPV-CTL1" IV curve tracer from Halm, equipped with a flash sun simulator.
The system measures the IV-curve of solar cells under AM1.5 illumination and additionally under a different illumination to precisely calculate the series resistance of the cell - all during one flash. It has an inbuilt temperature measurement to correct the data as well as a reference detector for the light intensity.
We even have possibilities to measure IV-curves of mini-modules with that system.
From the IV-curves, the solar cell efficiency, the fill factor, the open circuit voltage, and the short circuit current are extracted.
