Research
A large part of my research concerns the area of mental illness (especially the consequences of psychosis) as well as stress and stress reduction for various groups around the person affected by illness. Being able to reliably map and counteract stress and strain on relatives is an important part of several projects I have worked on. I have also worked on studies that examine various functional aspects in connection with, among other things, psychotic problems.
Teaching
In recent years, I have worked a lot with thesis supervision, but also taught methods courses at different levels, mainly in quantitative methods. Ever since I started working hours at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ in 1996, I have enjoyed teaching and over the years I have taught in most of the fields of psychology.
Collaboration
Within the framework of my research, I have come to collaborate with several different researchers outside ¹û¶³´«Ã½. The largest and so far longest-lasting collaboration for me is the collaboration with NU-health care's psychiatry in Trollhättan, Västra Götaland Region, where the Clinical Investigation of Psychosis in Sweden (CLIPS) - study has been ongoing since 2000.
Other
I really enjoy working as a senior lecturer at Kau and find it difficult to imagine a more stimulating and developing job.
