My research areas are:

- Ìý Ìý ÌýChildren and youth who grow up in families with mental illness, addiction and/or domestic violence

- Ìý Ìý ÌýAbuse and neglect, especially sexual abuse, sexual exploitation and sexual harassment of both children and adults

- Ìý Ìý ÌýEthical aspects in research with children and youth who have been exposed to abuse and neglect

- Ìý Ìý ÌýMental wellbeing and socio-emotional development of gifted children and youth (see /en/gifteddp )

I am the director of the Centre for research on the mental health and life circumstances of children and youth, CBU, at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ (see /en/cbu )

My teaching is mainly related to the master programmes in psychology and third-cycle education.

My focus is on applied research which is often conducted in collaboration with healthcare providers, schools, social service or the civil society.Ìý
