Area of reserach - Prehospital emergency care

My dissertation project concerned professional competence in ambulance services, how the competence is utilizesed and developed.

My interest in studying the utilization of professional competence in ambulance ambulance services is naturally linked to my experiences. I am a nurse, further trained in emergency and intensive care since year 2000, and have had clinical employment in ambulance services between 2001-2015. During the years 2003-2011, I was also employed as course manager and teacher for the specialist nursing program with a focus on prehospital care at ¹û¶³´«Ã½. During the period of time, I have perceived inconsistency and lack of clarity regarding the clinical and academic competence that ambulance operations require versus the competence focused on by  universities. 

In addition to prehospital emergency care, I am involved in projects in anaesthesia, military health care, education.

I teach in the nursing program, in the specialist nursing programs and have also taught through Uppdrags AB (¹û¶³´«Ã½).
