My research project mainly concerns resistance, lifestyle and sustainability. Two presently ongoing studies for the dissertation concerns:
1. An interview study of Dutch and German immigrants to rural areas in the region of Värmland and their motivations for relocating, primarily focussing on what the are moving away from.
2. A literature study on the phenomenon of downshifting, who are the ones oing it and what reasons do they have for it.

Teaching within the bachelor program in Environmental science and Risk management.
