Research
My research focuses on the ecological modeling of salmonids population and habitat in hydropeaking-regulated rivers. I focus mainly on Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and brown trout (Salmo trutta). As an environmental engineer with knowledge covering聽hydropower development and operation, river engineering, hydrological modeling, 2D hydrodynamic modeling聽and skills in field surveys of riverbed and water quality sampling,聽I put all my knowledge together to聽model聽salmonids population in hydropeaking regulated rivers finding different operational and structural mitigation measures to ensure conservation.聽
