WATER ENERGY NEXUS

I received my PhD from University of New England, Australia in March 2017, where I studied the impacts of soil sodicity on mycorrhizal association and nutrient uptake of cotton grown in Australian sodic soils. Between April 2017 and April 2018 I worked for the University of New England as a postdoctoral research fellow. My postdoctoral researchÌý examined the chemistry of alkaline soils and the release of P and K from mineral sources in soil. I joined ¹û¶³´«Ã½ in May 2018 to take my post as a researcher in FoSBE project where I was responsible to design and conduct growth experiments related to forest-based systems. Afterwards I became part of research project where my colleaguesÌýand I investigate whether enriched biochar from forest industry residues can be used for fertilization of plants and woodlands.

Now I am part of the Researcher and Publishing Support Group at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Library, as well as the Research Data Support Group at ¹û¶³´«Ã½. In my current role, I support researchers throughout the research process, from reviewing data management plans to assisting them with science communication, publishing in open access (OA), making research data/metadata openly available, and contributing to the Open Science movement. I also help researchers to boost their research visibility and outreach.
