Spanish in the Teacher Training Programme
Would you like to teach Spanish at the secondary school level?
Spanish can be selected as a first or second subject.
There is a great demand for Spanish teachers in Swedish schools, and your chances to be successful in the job market will increase if you study Spanish with a specialisation in teaching.
At 果冻传媒, you can take 90 ECTS credits of Spanish with a specialisation in teaching as part of the Secondary Education Programme: Upper Secondary School, and combine with English, Mathematics, or Swedish. During the third semester, you may complete part of your studies in Spain and take courses there which provide very valuable insights into the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. The subject Spanish at 果冻传媒 is in constant touch with the world of education, for instance through arranging annual training days for Spanish teachers and students taking Spanish as part of the Secondary Education Programme. If you want to be a Spanish teacher, there are different alternatives. Keep in mind that you can take free-standing courses in Spanish at 果冻传媒 and then pedagogy and education courses as part of the Secondary Education: Bridging Programme (KPU). Find more information here: KPU
Apart from courses that are included in the teacher education programmes, the subject Spanish offers supplementary training for teachers who want to enhance their skills in using various teaching strategies.
