Our different degrees
At 果冻传媒, you can complete a Higher Education Diploma, a Bachelor鈥檚 degree, a Master鈥檚 degree or a professional degree. If you continue to third-cycle studies, you can also obtain a licentiate degree or a doctorate.
Since 2007, higher education in Sweden has been divided into three different levels: the first, second and third cycles. The first cycle includes courses and programmes offered during the first three years of university studies, and can result in a Higher Education Diploma, a Bachelor鈥檚 degree or a professional qualification. Two types of second-cycle degrees are offered: a one-year Master鈥檚 degree or a two-year Master鈥檚 degree. You can also obtain a professional degree in the second cycle. Third-cycle studies result in licentiate degrees or doctorates.
First-cycle qualifications
Higher Education Diploma
A Higher Education Diploma comprises 120 credits, equivalent to two years of full-time study. An independent project of at least 7,5 credits must be included within the main field of study.

You can be awarded a Bachelor鈥檚 degree when you have completed 180 credits, equivalent to three years of full-time study. At least 90 of these credits must be in a main field of study, of which at least 15 credits must be an independent degree project. The remaining credits are electives.

The degree project may comprise less than 30 credits, however no less than 15 credits, if the student has already completed an independent project in the second cycle for at least 15 credits in the main field of study or the equivalent from a programme of study outside Sweden. The remaining credits should consist of second- and first-cycle courses. A maximum of 30 first-cycle credits can be included in a Master鈥檚 degree (120 credits).
