Teaching in Higher education 1 & 2

The Centre for Teaching and Learning offers two courses on university pedagogy. They are adapted to the participants and their development in the role as university tutors, and provide knowledge of what teaching in higher education entails. The participants focus on their own subject, and the concept of a subject is central throughout the course.

SUPERVISING LICENTIATE AND DOCTORAL STUDENTS

In this course, participants improve their understanding of different ways of supervising and offering third-cycle education in different subjects and scholarly traditions, of writing a thesis in different disciplines, and of research ethics and current national and local regulations. The course is mandatory if you are a docent.

• Support for teachers at the University Library

SUPPORT AND SUPERVISION IN CANVAS, THE VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Support and supervision in Canvas, the virtual learning environment, is offered as a self-study course in Swedish with links to support pages in English. Introductory workshops in Canvas are conducted in English on demand (if time is available). Webinarson specific Canvas-related themes are also arranged on demand (if time is available).
