New horizons for languages - English, is a handbook for teachers, assistants and trainers who teach English as a foreign language.
New horizons for languages -ÌýEnglish, follows the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The approach is action-oriented, and the tasks that are accomplished are carried out through different strategies using the target language.
The book is made up of six units with a cultural focus for each theme. For each level, a series of lessons offers language activities based on the resource materials.
The guide is user-friendly and the structure of lessons can be seen at a glance. Teaching resources, grammar/vocabulary, tasks, teaching pointers and exercises for students are clearly set out.

A hybrid-CD is included. It contains:
- Sound files for access to the language through native speakers.
- Resource materials which are either written texts or visuals.
- Exercises which are available and adaptable for teachers' personal use.
